The pier is made of metal and the sound produced is the empty steel pier rubbing against the pylons with each wave of the river. You can also hear a boat motor as a ferry pulls up to the pier. Walyunga is a haven of peace and tranquility just outside of perth. Realised to my dismay that this sound was not available. A card tapping and scraping on a ceramic plate. Designed to imitate the noise of cocaine being cut up. A nice & sunny recording session at the airport! positioned right at the flight path of departing planes, this served as a test recording for the tascam dr-40x. At some point during the session i decided to point the recorder straight up, instead of towards the planes themselves, creating a nice stereo "pass-by" effect.

This collection of kitchen sound effects was captured on a tascam dr-07. I carried the recorder around the kitchen opening and closing drawers, the refrigerator, and clattering/clanking plates and silverware. I even did a water pour into a drinking glass.
